About the Seminar

In this event the main characteristics for transmitting huge blocks of energy through very long distance focusing the use of half wavelength transmission lines were presented and discussed. The main technical results of R&D project originated by a strategic call from the Brazilian Electric Energy Regulatory Agency - ANEEL - were presented as well as some invited lectures by Brazilian, Russian and Chinese specialists.

Date and Location

The AC-Link Seminar - Half Wavelength Transmission Lines was held at University of Campinas - UNICAMP, Campinas city, São Paulo, Brazil, on the 26th and 27th on November 2013.

The Seminar took place at CCUEC located at Rua Saturnino de Brito, no. 45, in main UNICAMP campus, Campinas - SP.

Registration

Registration was free but limited to 100 persons.

The official language was Portuguese with simultaneous translation to Russian and English.
